lyrics

[Disipia, feeling more powerful now than he ever did in the world above, begins testing his powers and magic abilities, only to find he's not the only one capable of magic down here...]

I
strollin’ by the swans in the pond, word is bond / got my magic wand bout to get my motherfuckin’ magic on! / flossin’ cold, point it at a mossy knoll, it evaporates / suddenly an agitated bossy troll / appears, comes near, gesticulating at my person / fervently cursin’, his outburst quickly worsened / apparently the grassy knoll, was used for growin' herbs, man / i'll bring it back, just practicing, rehearsin, little herbsman! / and with a little wiggle of my holly wand / the hill reappeared in the clear, and along with it, my folly gone / the little troll wasn't old, but judged wise / when he surmised my magic level being higher than the skies / he gave a nod and wink, i thought it odd when he blinked / spun a circle and disintegrated in a cloud of pink / the residue of dust plumes and must fumes did swirl / and i assumed this mini man must’ve knew a few pearls

adventure is good and adventure is fine / but suspended in time's no adventure of mine / if time equals money, come spend some of mine / the weather's just fine, you may enter my mind / admission is free, complimentary fine / you're welcome, you're welcome to venture in mine / just stay in the lane you'll find penciled in lines / at the end you'll find death, did i mention the signs?

II
a while later on my journey of the day / took an ill advised turn and soon enough i couldn't find the way / ...my voice resounded "confound it & drat!" / i'd give my left crystal ball, for a crust of bread & a nightcap / i was mighty parched, hadn't had a cuppa since the ides of march / nothing edible in sight, nary a side of starch! / it's worth noting undergoing this little fast / for posterity's austerity's something i'd rather look past / in the grand scheme of things, man dreams of things grander / and self-denial is the trap door before grandeur / that being said, and seeing red, i was hangry / hang me and call me dangly dangbabbit / for being fed, whether sweet, savory or tangy / a rough man gangly did approach me like a ghost from the brambles rather tangly / reeking of piss and gangrene, meandering gait / betrayed illuminated eyes, behold this clever mate levitate!

adventure is good and adventure is fine / but suspended in time's no adventure of mine / if time equals money, come spend some of mine / the weather's just fine, you may enter my mind / admission is free, complimentary fine / you're welcome, you're welcome to venture in mine / just stay in the lane you'll find penciled in lines / at the end you'll find death, did i mention the signs?

III
upon his touchdown he greeted me fast / complete with sweetness of demeanor and delirious laugh / his breath was rancid, and to face it was a serious task / his logic spurious, he ought have sought a cure in the past / it made me furious, he hadn't thought it purely of class / i mean surely the smell was burly & his pearlies were crass / he embodied each & every sort of horror i dreamed / combining rigor mortis with poorest sort of oral hygiene / suddenly he reached my person with a squeeze of gas breeze / it was as if he had retained a year of meat & ass cheese / reached in his bag-o-tricks, i felt the elements shift / fingertip to his cap, with a benevolent tip / breath malevolent, i'd love to slip a velomint quick / i think a gentleman should never smell like elephant shit / i extended salutations, though at first i was taciturn / discerned his stankin' azz was half man and half pachyderm!
